NAESIA EARLY ACCESS

The future of sweat sensing. Be part of it.

NAESIA is developing a wearable that helps endurance athletes understand their sweat and sodium losses during exercise. Join us as we turn the concept into a working product.

Currently in research & development. Not yet commercially available.

NAESIA design concept: a compact white reader on a navy strap above a transparent disposable cartridge
Intended product design. Prototype development is ongoing.

THE PRODUCT CONCEPT

Three parts.
One picture of your sweat.

A fresh sampling cartridge, a reader you keep and an app to bring the measurements together.

01

Disposable Cartridge

Collects sweat through tiny channels and supports sodium measurements.

02

Reusable Reader

Contains the electronics that measure sweat and communicate wirelessly with the app.

03

Companion App

Displays measurements, workout trends and the intended future estimates of overall sweat and sodium losses.

THE FINISHED PRODUCT VISION

Intended Product
Capabilities

Planned features of the finished product. These capabilities have not yet been fully demonstrated or scientifically validated.

Sweat Sodium Concentration

Measure local sodium concentration in sweat during exercise.

Whole-Body Sweat Loss

Estimate total fluid loss through sweating and overall sweat rate during workouts.

Whole-Body Sodium Loss

Estimate total sodium lost through sweating.

Personalised Sweat Insights

Compare sessions, develop an individual sweat profile and explore insights that could support personalised hydration planning.

Whole-body estimates require further research and validation. Local sweat measurements and whole-body estimates are distinct.

WHERE WE ARE TODAY

An idea taking shape.
A clear view of the work ahead.

NAESIA is in prototype development, not commercial production. Early component tests are a starting point for building and validating the complete wearable.

Demonstrated

Early experiments, not full product validation.

  • Initial sodium measurement electronics tested in the laboratory.
  • Sweat collection channels demonstrated in laboratory testing.
  • Initial sweat collection demonstrated on-body.

In Development

Building and bringing the components together.

  • Reliable sweat collection during exercise.
  • On-body sweat rate sensor.
  • Reusable electronic reader.
  • On-body Sodium sensor.
  • Integration of the cartridge, reader and sensors.

Future Validation

The research and testing still ahead.

  • Complete wearable measurements during exercise.
  • Whole-body sweat loss estimation.
  • Whole-body sodium loss estimation.
  • Athlete testing and scientific validation.
  • Manufacturing and production readiness.

TRANSPARENCY, BY DESIGN

Privacy & concept

NAESIA is in development. This website presents an intended future product, with simulated app data and session comparisons. Product renders and running imagery illustrate the concept; they are not photographs of current hardware.

The concept assumes successfully validated whole-body estimation models. It does not present current study results, accuracy claims or certifications. Local measurements and model-derived estimates are labelled separately.

No analytics, advertising trackers or third-party font requests are used. Formspree processes and stores submitted enquiries and early-access registrations for NAESIA. Enquiries contain your name, email address, category, message, privacy consent and optional newsletter choice, and are used to respond to you.

Early-access registrations are stored separately, with the interests and consent choices you select. Campaign labels may be included, as explained beside that form. Receipt emails are separate from marketing consent. With your separate permission, MailerLite handles newsletter verification and subscriptions. Newsletters start only after email confirmation; you can unsubscribe at any time. Pilot interest alone does not subscribe you to marketing emails. The STRATO server keeps encrypted, limited-lived follow-up and consent records, with hashed abuse-prevention counters. To request removal, email contact@naesia-hydration.com.
